Abstract: Besides establishment of a thermodynamic model, oil movement and distribution wi thin the compression chamber is analyzed, and a model quantifying the influence of oil injection is built up. Performance parameters of a prototype compressor a re measured and the P-V diagram is recorded. Furthermore, a laser-measuring instrument PIV is used to investigate the atompzation of oil injection, oil move ment and distribution. Finally, application of the research results to the desig n of oil-injeted compressor is introduced.
