Abstract: Mid-Manganese alloy cast iron brake shoe was studied and compared with mid-phosphorous and high-phosphorous cast iron.It was shown that the mechanical strength and weer resistance of mid-monganese alloy cast iron brake shoe were improved as compared with mid-phosphorous and high- phosphorous ones,the results of practical application was fine.
