Abstract: Considerable achievements were made in therecent years with respect to the technique of rock-soil mass sonic detection in the hydrological andengineering geological institute. Aseries of detelorsand transducers have been developed, such as thedigital rock mass sonic detector, full Waveformlogging system and "pure" shear ware transducer,as well as ultrasonic transducer with wide band,narrow pulse and so on. At the same time we have made the study ofthe non-destruction detection of pile, the constantobservation of micro-motion of foundation and thedetection of fractures of rock mass through deepand dry holes with large spacting by sonic method.
