Abstract: This paper covers the clinical effects of 50 cases (76% severe) of infantile acute infectious multipleradienlitis treated by acupuncture in com.binationwith point injection of adenosine triphosphate. Afterbeing treated for 3 months, 78% were cured andnearly cured. There was no one ease of death andwith sequela. Compared with the non-acupuncturegroup, the difference was significant (P<0.005).Points to be selected: The principal points wereselected from the Hand and Fool Yangming Channels,in combination with the points of Hand and FootShaoyang Channels and Foot Taiyin Channel. Treatedonce daily and 15 treatments constitute one course.
