Abstract: Air Piston Pump, as the power source of main hydraulic system for aircraft, its performance directly relates to the safety and reli-ability of the flight control system. According to the structure and working principle of a certain type of air pump, the simulation models of main components of Air Piston Pump are developed, based on the AMESim simulation software platform, which further builds a simulation model for the entire pump system. The inputs of swash plate pre-tilt angle and hinge eccentricity make Air Piston Pump system simulation more realistic. Through studies of such simulation, the theoretical guidance is provided for the follow-up pump parameters optimization and the standard simulation model for Air Piston Pump system is set up.
