Abstract: Study the interaction between different additives and the effects on the antioxidation property using experimental design. Experi-mental design was conducted by Box-Behnken, and the factors include antioxidation agent, extreme-pressure and anti-wear agent, metal de-activator and anti-rust agent. The good correlation was established between calculated and experimental data. The interaction was also inves-tigated. The results showed that the experimental design method can be applied to study the interaction between different additives, and it will be a useful tool in the formulation research.
