Abstract: The integration of massive multi-source heterogeneous data for marine environmental monitoring is beyond the capability of traditional integration methods and technologies, which can only be realized by the application of big data technology which is beneficial for sharing of marine environmental monitoring data,avoiding the emergence of information island, and providing necessary data for data analysis and mining. This paper focuses on the integration of multi-source heterogeneous marine environmental monitoring data based on the technologies of big data and data virtualization platform refering to the ODM2 information model and MMI ORR ontology semantic framework. In addition, it probes into the realization method of multi-source heterogeneous data inquiry as well as their integrated display and application on the basis of Big Data Integration(BDI). This research helps to solve the problem of massive marine environmental monitoring data management,meets the demands of marine environmental big data for researchers, implements the data-driven decision-making method, and improves the management level for the marine environment.
