Abstract: A technical proposal of demodulating DFB laser sensor signal was put forward.3 × 3 coupler unbalanced Mach-Ze-hnder interferometer was used as core element of the proposal.The expression of interferometer's output light intensity was got by using waveguide and polarized light theory.The impact of input light polarization on visibility and phase was analyzed.A demodulation algorithm was proposed of 120 degree phase difference between three output signals.While the visibility is not zero,this proposal could overcome the impact of visibility on the output of the interferometer,and the linear sensor signal output could be got.
