Abstract: [Objective] To detect and analyze the occupational hazards in an underground fortification under construction, provide targeted protection recommendations.[Methods] Occupational hazards detection and occupational health field investigation were performed in related posts and jobs.[Results] The short-term exposure concentrations of total suspended particulate (TSP) in terrazzo grinding position was 22.2 mg/m3,and the occupational exposure limit was 8 mg/m3.Among 10 soldiers engaging in welding and cutting/grinding,A-noise exposure level normalized to a nominal 8-h working day of 9 soldiers exceeded 85 dB (A) (the national occupational exposure limit).[Conclusion] In the underground fortification under construction, the short-term exposure concentrations of TSP in terrazzo grinding position and A-weighted noise exposure level normalized to a nominal 8-h working day in welding and cutting/grinding position exceed the occupational exposure limits, which harm the health of soldiers. It is necessary to strengthen health protection to reduce the hazards.
