Construction of physical fatigue assessment model based on dynamic upright balance function

Abstract: [Objective] To study the effect of physical fatigue on dynamic postural control of different leaning directions,further build a physical fatigue assessment model.[Methods] 60 eligible male students were selected from 2015 undergraduate students of Fourth Military Medical University,and were divided into the control group and the research group.After the objects in research group finished pedaling tasks of six stages,all the objects in two groups received dynamic postural control test of eight leaning directions and subjective fatigue measurement as soon as possible.During experiment,the blood pressure,heart rate and breathing rate of all the objects also were tested.[Results] Compared with the control group,the subjective fatigue score(t=2.809,P<0.0 1),systolic pressure (t =3.789,P<0.01),heart rate (t=7.494,P<0.01) and breathing rate (t=6.266,P<0.01) of the research group increased significantly.Under the effect of physical fatigue,body sway intensity on medium-high frequency bands increased significantly,and postural adjusting stability got worse (t=2.292,P<0.05) when body gravity moved to the front target.Likewise,body sway intensity and postural adjusting ability also decreased in some degree when body leaned to other directions.Based on the sensitive parameters of dynamic upright balance in front direction,physical fatigue assessment model was successfully built by principle component analysis.Compared with the control group,physical fatigue index of the research group increased significantly (t=3.814,P<0.01).[Conclusion] Physical fatigue has an adverse effect on dynamic upright balance function of different leaning directions,and the physical fatigue assessment model based on dynamic upright balance function provides a new method in physical fatigue assessment of pilots.
