Occupational health risk evaluation of key occupational diseases in Jiangjin District of Chongqing in 2016

Abstract: [Objective] To analyze the distribution characteristics of key occupational diseases in Jiangjin District of Chongqing in 2016,provide evidence for developing the prevention and treatment measures against key occupational diseases.[Methods] The data were collected from national occupational disease and occupational health information monitoring system and monitoring report of occupational diseases.Excel was used to build database and analyze data.[Results] The field occupational health detection rate of enterprises with key occupational hazards in Jiangjin District was 27.63%,and the rate of occupational health surveillance was 25.22%.70 cases of key occupational diseases were found,including 42 silicosis cases,14 cases of noise induced deafness,9 cases of potter's pneumoconiosis,4 cases of benzene poisoning,and 1 case of coal workers' pneumoconiosis.There were 7 cases of suspected occupational disease and 10 cases of occupational contraindication.[Conclusion] Comprehensive decision results show that the field occupational health detection rate and occupational health examination rate are low in Jiangjin District of Chongqing,and the main occupational hazards are silica dust,noise and benzene.The occupational health supervision departments should strengthen the supervision and management of field occupational health detection and occupational health surveillance,enterprises should strengthen the protective facilities and personal protective measures,and the occupational disease monitoring institutions should strengthen cooperation and raise their service level.
