Abstract: Yueling Mingyi by the great Confucian Huang Daozhou in the late Ming Dynasty is a representative and unique work to interpret Yueling(proceedings of government in different months),and also one of the five interpretations of Liji(Book of Rites) in Huang’s late years. The book followed the core idea traditionally highlighted by Yueling, emphasizing agricultural and governing policy—embodying "agriculture-,peasant-and people-based political thought from the perspective of political law, political ethics and political philosophy and reflecting the Confucianism and the idea of benevolence through the governing philosophy of "agriculture, ritual and merit".
