Abstract: The walk-in water quality monitoring platform is a new type of marine monitoring means developed in recent years, which is suitable for water quality monitoring on a variety of waters, including offshore waters,reservoirs, rivers and lakes. It can achieve water quality monitoring and collection in an automatic way, condusive to implementing automatic monitoring and management for important parameters. The offshore navigation water quality monitoring platform can be viewed as a multidisciplinary integration. the platform adopts the catamaran and twin screw seal structure. Under the control of the virtual instrument software, it can realize autonomous path planning, autonomous navigation and autonomous obstacle avoidance, intelligent water sample collection, real-time transmission of monitoring data and other functions. The self-diagnosis and self-confirmation system is able to ensure the safe operation of offshore walk-in water quality monitoring platform. Powered by solar energy and lithium batteries, the system is free of secondary pollution. The practical marine environment test has been conducted, showing strong practicality and broad application prospects.
