Abstract: Compared with thermosetting composites, polypropylene composites have a series of advantages such as short molding cycle, high production efficiency, long storage time of prepreg, recyclability and so on. In the classification of polypropylene composites, continuous fiber reinforced polypropylene composites have higher strength, modulus and other mechanical properties than short fiber and long fiber reinforced polypropylene composites. The research of production process of continuous fiber reinforced polypropylene composites is of great significance.As described in this paper, a type of unidirectional prepreg of continuous glass fiber reinforced polypropylene composites was prepared by orthogonal experiment. The effects of fiber preheating temperature, impregnation mold temperature, traction speed and resin extrusion speed were studied. The preheating temperature was 120 ℃, the mold temperature was 220 ℃, the traction speed was 5m/min, and the metering pump rotation rate was 12 r/min.
