Abstract: A kind of epoxy modified polyamide polyamine resin impregnating material with side chain containing chloropropanol group was synthesized. It was impregnated into hardwood veneer by vacuum pressure after being mixed with nano-alumina dispersion solution. An epoxy modified polyamide resin/nano-alumina modified hardwood veneer can be produced by means of drying at high temperature. The thermal conductivity and impact resistance of the impregnated hardwood veneer are obviously improved, of which the impact resistance of different wood veneers is increased by 7.87%~23.65%.Poplar,black walnut, maple and oak veneers impregnated by polyamide polyamine/nano-alumina impregnating solution modified by epichlorohydrin can effectively improve the thermal conductivity and impact resistance of veneers.
